Michaela Paris serves AKCG – Public Relations Counselors as an account executive where she brings years of proactive media relations and strategy development experience to the firm’s healthcare, education and association clients.
Previously, Michaela worked with companies in the healthcare, consumer goods, technology and hospitality industries, to help build detailed media strategies and secure relevant media opportunities. She has earned over 5 billion impressions in her career thus far.
Prior to joining AKCG, Michaela worked as an assistant account executive at a public relations and digital marketing firm in New Jersey. In this role, she built tailored media lists, created unique pitch angles, drafted press releases and media alerts, represented brands at trade shows and other media events and formed relationships with national and regional media contacts. Michaela also created social content and developed strategic paid social media campaigns. Her experience with both public relations and social media marketing has helped her to exceed her clients’ marketing goals. Before her time as an assistant account executive, Michaela worked in the marketing department of Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, as well as another public relations firm in New York City.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Stockton University, where she majored in communication studies and minored in writing. She earned her master’s degree in business administration and marketing at Monmouth University.
In 2020, Michaela received a Gold dotCOMM award in Earned Media for her media placement in Vogue Magazine.
