Beth Archer is a senior counselor with AKCG – Public Relations Counselors, where she provides strategic public relations support for clients in the energy, health care and higher education industries. She was vice president of the firm from 2011 to 2014.
Before joining AKCG, Beth was senior manager of communications for Exelon Nuclear, where she oversaw issues management, community outreach, media relations and internal communications for four nuclear plants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Previously with the Unisys Corporation, she managed lead generation communications efforts for the company’s enterprise server division.
She graduated from Drexel University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate communications, and was named to Drexel’s inaugural class of “40 Under 40,” which recognizes “bright, innovative, entrepreneurial” alumni. In 2013, Beth was named as a “20 Under 40” area business leader.
Beth is a former board member of the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. She is a former president and chairperson of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association and has been a volunteer with Children’s Village in Center City and People’s Emergency Center in University City. She is also a Leadership Philadelphia Fellow.
