Darrah Pilieri, APR
As an account manager, Darrah Pilieri has a knack for building valuable relationships with the media, her clients and fellow team members. She understands the importance of building trust, and she carries that through her work at AKCG.
In addition to leading a proactive media relations team, Darrah assists the issues and crisis management practice’s crisis preparedness clients through writing and social media support.
Prior to joining AKCG, Darrah was the marketing and public relations coordinator at Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia, where she managed the website, event planning and social media presence.
Darrah currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association. She is a graduate of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s Nancy Bacher Long PR Institute.
Darrah graduated cum laude from Rowan University, where she earned joint Bachelor of Arts degrees in public relations and journalism. As a student, she was president of the Anthony J. Fulginiti Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, the largest pre-professional society in the United States. Darrah was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society, which recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline.
